LOST TITLE DEED!!!!

Good Day

We have been banking with FNB for more than 10 years. We have since sold our current property and also purchased a new property and we have accepted the new offer from FNB.

We are however unhappy with the current property that we sold in Midstream, we were advised that FNB lost the Title Deed?? I need some clarification on this please. How did this happen?? Because of this, our property can not be registered in the new owner's name.

I have a lot of concerns regarding this and need answers.
