***** loss and zero FNB communication. Appalling.

I am an FNB pensioner, 34 years in FNB. On the 18th December I was contacted by FNB *****, advising that my accounts had been compromised. Bottom line - R450000.00 had been moved from my Money Maximiser account to my current staff account, and then a total of 11 Takealot/Istore payments had been transacted bringing a total of R495,146.00 having been de*****ed. On my Credit card R27195.00 had been taken. A grand total of R522,341.00 taken. I reported this to FNB ***** and 2 case numbers were provided. !) Current account case 2025:*** and 2) Credit card case 2025:***6. Since then ,through Hout Bay Branch the area manager, Caryn Pendlebury we have been trying to get feedback from FNB *****. NOTHING after a month. E-mails were purportedly sent to me, but never received. AT NO POINT did i EVER divulge Pins, Online banking Username or Password! My cards were always in my possession. I find it disgusting that noone in ***** has bothered to understand the stress, with no sense of empathy or client service. I demand that a Deadlock letter be issued by FNB and that I receive FULL detailed feedback, and compensation. Banks are meant to protect their clients assets, savings. I am almost 74 and this R522,341.00 has seriously compromised our future. I am requesting FNB to make good on this, as I have done nothing to compromise my money. Any failure in my requests and I will escalate to the Banking Ombudsman.
