Losing a Pen to Bank Staff at FNB Branch

I went to this FNB bank on Monday for some assistance regarding my bank account confirmation, and I was attended to by a guy. He needed a pen and I offered him my own which he didn’t return to me. When I asked him for the pen later, he just wandered around and said he has already given it to me. Why do people just like to covet other people’s things? This is no ordinary pen, it’s such an elegant one. At the end, he came with one half-used ordinary pen and offered me for free. He probably knew the worth of what he had kept away. Losing this pen isn’t just something I have been able to deal with. I am attached to it. I keep thinking of it. My single mistake was letting him use my pen. Replacing it will surely cost me some Rand.
