Loans Department
I app**** online for a call back from the students loans department on the 3rd of January (***) which then stated I'll receive a call back in 3 days. I again app**** for a call back on the 7th of January (***) after no call back. On the 12th of January I lodge a complaint online, Thabi Tshabalala (Ref:***) then informed me that the manager from the loans department will contact me. Untill today this person has not contacted me.
On the 25th someone phoned me, we were unable to complete the application process (why this process can't be completed online still baffles me) the lady told me to send documents through to FNB. After not receiving a call back to complete the application process I send an email on the 10th of February with the required documents. I was then informed the is no application under my profile.
On the 18th of February (***) I again app**** for a call back. On the 7th of March after trying to contact the loans department I finally contacted the complaints department again. The lady informed me that my complaint has been closed. I lodged a new complaint (***), again nothing has been resolved.
It has almost been 4 months and FNB has called me back once. The service I'm receiving as an existing customer is shocking.
FNB phoned me the same day (23 March) I completed my application telephonically. I was informed that my application will initially be processed as a personal loan only after FNB has processed my proof of registration (sent on 23 March) my application will be converted from a personal loan to a student loan.
Once again no feedback.
On 6 April I emailed FNB asking when I'll be receiving my contract. Fnb did try to contact me. I'm a teacher so I'm not always available when I asked the lady to phone in 15min she'll phone in an hour for example thus we were not able to talk.
I received a sms saying FNB did try to contact me but I should phone the given number with the reference in the sms.
I phoned the number which is a general call centre number not student loans. I spoke to someone at loans (no wrong department you should be at sale) spoke to someone at sales (nope wrong department, you have an existing loan, you should be at loans), even after offering the reference number no one used it.
I'm sick and tired of this back and forth.
Can someone please help me to just get my student contract please?
