Loan term extended-not informing me. Handed over

I took out a personal loan in 2008, 20 November. Original loan term was 66 months and the end date was 30 November 2014. Unbeknownst to me, ABSA terminated this beneficiary from my bank account and I created another one. It was written back for three months, by the way, my premium was 957.73 and I have made payments to the amounts of R1000.00 every month. When I discovered that these premiums were written back, I personally went to an FNB branch. I was told that the only amount outstanding to bring this up to date, was R1110.00, which I have paid 06.02.2014. I have now received my February 2015 statement and was shocked to see that my loan term was extended till 28.02.2015. What annoyed me most, was that I have been handed over to the legal department for an amount of R4162.97. No one contacted me, either via e-mail or phone, to tell me this is going to happen?? To me this looks like an overpayment and someone at FNB is not reading the statements correctly. So for handling my account very efficiently, paying on time, paying MORE, I get handed over?? And my loan term has now been 75 months? Doesn't make sense to me. No one seems to be able to help me when I phone in. I expected more
