Loan repayment trippled without notification - FNB CONTRAVENES CREDIT ACT

On 1 August I received a debit notification SMS for my student loan. The amount was tripple what it had been the last four years. I am still a registered student. I have not been sent any notification that this will happen. I have not received a statement at all for the entire duration of the credit agreement, which is in contradiction with the NCA and the credit agreement itself.

Since 1 August I have sent emails every day, have not received any reason why this has happened and have not received any statements. I am not sure if I am paying the principal amount now? If so, why and shy have I not been notified, as per the credit agreement?

I am honestly so disappointed in the lack of service. I have sent detailed emails and received replies that they will look into it, yet no reply to my questions.

FNB is contravening the NCA.

Responsible people at FNB Loans:

NETSAI NGIDI

CLASSINA MOSHIKARO

NOTHANDO MADLABANE

LAUREN RAMSURAN
