Loan Payment Discrepancy
Since 19 January, my experience with FNB has been extremely disappointing. Despite multiple communications, follow-ups, and providing all necessary documentation, my issue remains unresolved months later.

02 Apr 2026, 08:07 My experience with FNB has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. Since 19 January, my matter has still not been properly resolved despite numerous follow-ups and clear proof of payments. What is most concerning is the incorrect allocation of funds. An amount of R10,822.38, which was a negotiated settlement with their appointed attorneys for a handed-over account, was incorrectly allocated to a different loan account. Meanwhile, a direct payment of R15,494.44 made to the bank has not been properly app**** where it should have been. This reflects a serious lack of internal coordination between the bank and its attorneys, resulting in confusion, delays, and unnecessary stress for the customer. Instead of resolving the issue, responses received seem to overlook the actual problem and fail to take accountability. For a major financial institution, this level of service is unacceptable. Customers should not have to continuously follow up or correct errors that were not of their making. Overall, the experience has been poor, inefficient, and unresolved for far too long.
