Loan approved and not notified why declined

I had app**** for a loan on cellphone banking, I received an sms saying that I have been preapproved.<br> thereafter an agent called me, explaining all the details, I have two other loans that will be consolidated and the balance paid into my account. She took over an hour going through the deal and reading the contract. after I agreed the contract was emailed to me with the terms and conditions. I was told the money will be in my account in an hours time. I still have not received the money, when I called the call center they say it might be declined I was not made aware, all I know is that the loan was approved what is the point of wasting ones time and then after being said the money will be paid and then said it might be declined,]. If fnb can use their recordings against the ppl why cant they use the recordings to prove that they were wrong and wasted my time.<br> this is ridiculas as once I was told the loan was approved I have made arrangements for that money as I knew it would have been in my account.
