Livid Client!!!!
I am very upset with FNB because I bank with them. On the 1st of April 2021 I accidentally transferred money into an old credit card that is not even in use anymore while i was trying to send money to a colleague of mine. I called FNB head-office and I was given an email address to send a mail to concerning my query and I was told that I will get my money back in about 7 working days. So I sent an email on the 6th after the long weekend hoping that something will happen after 7 working days. I went to the FNB branch in Welkom on the 5 May 2021 where I told the lady my issue and she said all they could do was call the call center of which she dialed the numbers for me, the lady I spoke to was also wondering why I still haven't received my money after a month of waiting. I want FNB to give me my money which is R2100 as well as the interest they are making on it. What makes me even more upset is that whenever I email them I just get an acknowledgement email that they have received my query and they give me a reference number, I don't reference number I want my money back with interest!!! Why does FNB take from lower income groups, I am a black single mother and I need the money, this is food taken directly out of my son's mouth. Its been costing me as well in airtime to call and transport to get to the branch. I will be surprised if FNB even makes an effort to even answer to my complaint.
