Lina the super star
My FNB sim wouldn't read and after doing a ton of troubleshooting, I eventually called the service desk and an extremely polite, professional and on-the-ball Lina Phasha blew away with great service...
Really enjoyed speaking to her and having my problem sorted the 1st time and in mere seconds.
Give Lina a Bells

02 Mar 2022, 18:52What a waste of a positive review. I don't blame Lina!!! Lina did her job until your SIM card simply went back to not working the next day. At my earliest opportunity, I called your service center and after 33 minutes speaking to an agent, she had not solved my problem but escalated to IT or admin or whatever the hell you call it.
The afternoon of the next day I was called and I repeated my story. The lady said she would reset my SIM and call back. A few hours later, she had not and so I called the service desk where Timothy Duiker took my call and initially seemed like he would help. Soon he had made up his mind that the problem was either both of my devices or my sim...notwithstanding that your IT called me on one of these devices that is allegedly a problem.
Being in the office well near 18 hours a day means I have no time to waste at a branch where I will have to wait an unknown amount of time and resolution is not guaranteed. A period during which I will be losing money. Here it is suggested I do a SIM swop and make a case not to be charged...are you f*****ng kidding me?!!!
"you'll have to wait for IT to call you," he said...the same IT that couldn't honor a promise to make 1 lousy call back and without a single apology that I have been inconvenienced. Is FNB too big for its clients I have to wonder? Is there always someone else looking for your services, so ***** me...who do I think I am? Is that why your agents condescend and reckon they can refuse a client a request to speak to their line manager?
anyway, you will refund me...(not a request!!!) and you will cancel this service as well as close my account. I don't time for such nonsense!!!
