Life policy increases

I am an FNB life policy for more than 5 years, I receive a annual increase of 5% every year. My challenge is that my company is in a process of retrenchment and I am affected. I called FNB to inform them and asked them not to increase my policy as I swill not afford until such time I get another job. I am told unfortunately they can do that I should cancel my policy if I cannot afford. I am so dissatisfied to the CORE and requesting a senior person at FNB to look into this and call me URGENTLY
