life insurance

my dad took out a life insurance plan with fnb,on the day he signed they told him when he passes on there will be an amount that will be paid to the spouse(mom) ,he passed on last year we immediately cald fnb ,they took us from pillar to post even went as far as telling us that we didnt have an insurance with them until we provided proof that indeed we have one,they took long for the insurance to pay out the house and the remainder of the funds were suppose to go to my mom but they told her she wont receive any money,what kind of micky mouse games are they playing_now that my dad has passed they changing what they had initially told her,fnb keeps on disspointing me ,all thats left now is to close all accounts with them and honestly now iam ****ed to the core
