Life cover for bond

I am currently in the process of buying my first house, I have been a client of FNB for over 4 years, i have had 3 cars and 4 credit cards through them and when I app**** for the bond I was originally denied a bond loan when all other banks had accepted me. I went into the bank to find out why i was declined and found out that fnb had pulled out my expenses as double. after proving that I can afford this bond i'm applying for, now with the process of my bond being lodged I have been told that my Credit life insurance does not meet their requirements. I currently have 2 life covers and 2 disabilities in place. 1 with Discovery insurance and 1 with liberty. Both cover my bond no problems. Now I get told that i have to have Life/ death cover, Temp disability, Permanent disability and retrenchment cover. I had received a cession from the bank that only stated life cover and disability. Now i have to take out additional expenses to cover something that I was first told that i cant afford? No other bank has this in place and is not forced on by any other bank. It is not by law to force any life cover on any client. and I will not take any more cover as i believe i am covered more then sufficientl . I want this problem sorted out ASAP as this process has taken far to long.
