Life cover

I am so very angry an disappointed with Fnb, I have been banking with Fnb since I started to work in 2006 and now they just taking me for a ride I used to have a life policy not funeral but a life cover and I used to pay insurance to secure my cover just I case I lost my job and I got retrenched from work in 2024, when I enquire about my policy they say I must send retrechment form in which I did last year July and they said I must send it again today and I did so, only to tell me that my policy has lapesed, I don't understand it has lapse okay what about the extra fee I used to pay, coz upon me saving the money it was for my kids, now I am sick I am still not working should I just sit and watch one of the largest bank chow the money of my kids, Fnb please advise.
