Lies/shocking service FNB

I was recently contacted by an FNB private banker about joining private clients. I was very interested in what it had to offer and was very interested in moving, I also made it clear that I wanted my wife to move from a competitor bank to FNB. The private banker was happy to assist with this. The private banker explained all the benefits of moving and I was impressed and ready to move. However, I wanted to meet the private banker to discuss things further.

We decided to meet on the 23rd of November 2019 at 9:00am (I have this all on email) The meeting was confirmed. On Friday the 22nd of November I emailed the private banker to confirm the meeting, I received an automatic response saying that the private banker was on leave. This was unacceptable as I was not informed about this. I then proceed to message the private banker via text message - only to receive a message saying that his/her car keys had gone missing and would not be able to make the meeting. The private banker blatantly **** to me, I caught him/her out and never received a response back.

I would like to know how FNB is going to rectify this and keep me as a client as their staff lie and who else knows what. I am considering moving everything that I have to my wife’s bank. I have been with FNB for many many years and if this is how they treat clients then I want no part of their business.

FNB are so useless that I was called by a member of the Hello Peter team to tell me that FNB will contact me, I have not heard a single thing from FNB since I wrote this complaint.
