Left stranded by FNB car insurance company

on saturday 27 Aug my car would not start,I phoned FNB car insurance at 16:56 asking for help.Number one they could not find my details with name and surname,ID Number, car registration number and contact number. This was a start of it.But after a long and lenthy checks on both my side and their side they decided that they will help but should I not be covered I will have to pay the cost. After the call I waited till 17:43pm for the sms with my surname spelt wrong giving me a ref # 6S-HPAG-01.Shortly after another sms came telling me that a Ranger has been authorised to come help me.Now where I was its a collage everyone is gone, security wants to close up the parking area.I phoned at 17:54 a call that lasted 3min asking for more details as I need to negotiate for the place to kept open until I get help.Im told its gonna take 45min to an hour.I make another call at 18:54 that lasted for 9min as they trying to locate the person thats suppose to come help me.My first R110 airtime gets finished,I load another one to call back.Im told to wait for the case manager another 4MIN goes and im promised to be called back.No one called back until I finished my second R110 airtime again. At 19:18pm I decide that it looks like i wont get help with my insurance,I called Mercedes Benz who arranged somone to come help me and obviously at a cost of R850 payable cash.I wouldnt want anyone else to be in the situation I was in on saturday. My advice choose wisely when it comes to car insurances cause the FNB car insurance is the same as if you dont have one.I eventually called them to cancel the help I have requested cause I got help.No one called back till to date of this report. But Im calling them to cancel everything I have with them.
