Left stranded by FNB

Recently during a s**** excursion in the port of Cannes, France, while on a Mediterranean cruise, I fell victim to a pickpocket. My pouch containing my cell phone, ID, Drivers License and most importantly my FNB creditcard was taken. On boarding the ship I immediately contacted FNB to Block my creditcard and requested that a replacement card be forwarded to an address in the UK, where I would be at the end of the week to receive it. I was shunted from one to the other person in the call centre and told that this was not possible as it takes 14 to 21 working days to process a new creditcard. I explained my dilemma as I had limited cash with me and needed my creditcard for the rest of my trip. Needless to say No creditcard was delivered to me during the month I was away. This was a traumatic experience to be left stranded in a foreign country without access to any finance and having to rely on the generosity of friends to survive. This really ruined what should have been a dream holiday. Really no way to treat a loyal customer of over 40 years, FNB,
