LEAVE FNB ASAP

On Tuesday 18/09/2018 I called FNB personal loans dept to change my debit order date. While on the line the consultant confirmed that my debit order was switched from the 25th to the 6th of every month. I double confirmed with her again and asked her so that means my next debit order will be on the 6th of October. She agreed. Well this morning my account got debited. If it were to bounce then my credit record would have been affected. Truth is I would advise anyone I know to leave FNB as fast as possible because they only service who they want to. For average working class people they don’t give a hoot. After 7 years I have finally switched to a new bank and in the process of closing my account. Even though I have over 50k going through my account they never even financed a car of mine. Def NOT the people’s ban****

After this response Fnb simply advised me that I will have to contact them to ask for a refund when the next debit goes off and which also takes 48 business hours. I then requested the refund, which now after 7 working days I’m being told is not possible. And mind you, Fnb did not call me to advise me of this. I had to call them and after being on the phone for almost 20mins while consultant tries to search for an answer because he has no idea what’s going on he then tells me sorry there is no refund due to you. FNB IS REALLY SO SUPER INCOMPETANT!!!!
