Late Estate Account - no interest

When my father died we had to open a late estate account. We opened it at FNB, not once did FNB request what type of account was needed. After reviewing the bank statements I noticed NO interest has been paid since opened. When querying this, the reply from the Fiduciary Administrator, Tumelo Thoka was "we do not provide advise on opening of Estate Late account and open the accounts requested by the executor, which is the not interest bearing". This is outright ******* as no choice was given on opening an account and no questions were asked regarding this, executor certainly did not request a NON interest bearing account either.
