Late Estate

My dad died in February of 2020. Estate has still not been finalised. Almost a year ago we were paid out the interim amount. Since then, FNB has requested the tax clearance certificate from Sars. After me querying numerous times with FNB, they had to re-submit to SARS. Why did it have to take so long. Needless to say, im still waiting for my dad's estate to be finalised.
