Lack of Response and Assistance from FNB Private Banking

I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with my recent experience with FNB, particularly in dealing with my assigned private banker, Eva Phiri. The purpose of this communication is to formally raise my concerns and request immediate action to resolve the issue I have been facing.

I have been a loyal customer of FNB for a considerable period, and I have always believed in the quality of service that the bank provides. However, my recent interactions with Eva Phiri and the lack of response from your team have left me deeply dissatisfied.

Over the past three weeks, I have sent multiple emails and made phone calls to Eva Phiri, seeking assistance in obtaining copies of my bank statements for the purpose of finalizing my income tax return. Each time, Eva assured me that my request would be escalated, and she would get back to me promptly. Regrettably, her promises have gone unfulfilled, and I am still waiting for the help I require.

To expedite the resolution of this matter, I took the step of copying Eva Phiri's manager, Keegan Govender, as well as some of her colleagues, including Athule Mpandle, Elmarie De Jager, Ivon Becker, and Neo Thapedi, on my emails. From the read receipts, it is evident that my emails have been received and read by the intended recipients. However, the lack of any substantive response or assistance has left me utterly frustrated and feeling ignored.

I am deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism and urgency demonstrated by FNB in addressing my concerns. As a valued customer, I expected better service and accountability.

I kindly request that someone from FNB contact me to resolve this issue promptly. I would appreciate your guidance on the process to be followed in appointing a new private banker. Alternatively, please assist me in closing my accounts with FNB, as it appears that my needs and concerns are not being given the attention they deserve.

I expect a swift response to this formal complaint, as it is essential for me to finalize my income tax return within the required timeframe.
