Lack of information

Hi. I have been with First National Bank for many years now and recently I was introduced to the mobile app which was a God send and a huge convenience for my banking needs. Needless to say, I have become quite dependent on this application and rely on it almost daily. Unfortunately from Sunday, I could not get on. After repeatedly trying and failing I decided to call the helpline. I was told the problem was on there side and advised that the problem would be sorted soon. Today I tried calling again and was told that the app is no longer supported by my version of Blackberry!!!! My first qualm is that I was never informed of this! I could have saved myself a lot of time and irritation at logging in had I known. I mean FNB sms's for every other reason, they could of informed their clients of this. Secondly, what happens to those who don't have phones that support the app??? Did the developers not think of accommodating every-ones needs? I mean the original app did work for me, why am I excluded now? Technology and its progress should benefit all, not exclude. I really am disappointed with this institution
