Knock Knock FNB Home Loans, is there "SOMEONE" there?

I wanted to cancel the FNB bond and issue the mandatory 90 days notice. I dropped an email to FNB. Received a prompt response that the mail was transferred to "someone" in the home loan department. Next day I received a call from the private wealth department and the agent spent 20 minutes in verifying me, only to tell me later he will pass me to "someone" in the Home loan department. (Not sure why he called) I was also given a no to call. When I called ********** 000 again 10 minutes were spent in the verification process and the next thing I was told was she will pass the message to "someone" in the home loan department.

In a nutshell, FNB has no direct number for anything. You call a department as per the website and you are only transferred from one department to another in search of "someone" who might have been trained on the question we have.

A simple process can be, yes we have received your notification, and this is the reference number. Period.

Its a shame that a great institution like FNB is infested with agents who are trained only on one statement, they will tell "someone"!! None of FNB's are good anymore. The no given for home loan was actually back the private wealth management.

Pity what incompetency and wrong business process can

A job that could have been done on one phone call of flat 15 minutes, is pending post 72 hours as there seems no proper business process and agents are running in circles.  After the above complaint, I have received two calls, one saying my message will be forwarded to the home loan department (from private banker) and reference will be given tomorrow. The second call was my complaint has been received and they will call tomorrow?  Is the home loan department so precious/untouchable that it has no number and no one can talk to them directly?  OR they can't call back? and FNB needs layers of agents to simply PASS ON THE MESSAGE?  This is called business process blunder!!
