In September last year I paid up my FNB bond. Then I tried to cancel the bond in order to receive my title deed. What a nightmare. Total incompetence and non communication from FNB home loans. It is almost a year and my bond is till not cancelled. In addition, FNB slapped another R9000 on my bond account and refuse to disclose why this has happened and they still have not moved closer to cancelling my bond. The person we were dealing with is Morne Heyns from the Home Loans department who is absolutely uncooperative. This is a warning to FNB bond holders. Do not pay up your home loan account because you will never receive your title deed.
