January eBucks points and earnings earning messed up
FNB seem to be consistently dropping the ball - well at least on my accounts.
This review is in 2 part
The first relates to my eBucks points being incorrectly calculated - which translates to me being in a lower level and thus earning a lot less. None of my 'Save and Invest' points have been added. Just this would have maintained me at the higher level and thus kept my eBucks earnings at the higher level.
The second relates to something I have queried before but seems to have been conveniently forgotten. This relates to the 'tap to pay' not working (which FNB has admitted is their issue) when I filled fuel at Engen and the consequent impact on my eBucks earning and points. I was forced to use the physical card and for this I earned R3.60 in eBucks. However if the 'tap to pay' had worked then I would have earned R217.65. This also led to me losing 1000 points because my virtual instore spend was below 80%. This alone would also have kept my eBucks level higher.
FNB has to do a full review of my eBucks level and earnings for January. My earnings were lower than they should be as the level was lower. I want this to be fixed and the correct earnings allocated to me. This continues as the Smart Spend is based on this lower level - this needs to be fixed as well. I want my Engen fuel spend to be calculated as if I had paid with a virtual card.
