It shouldn't take 3 weeks to deliver a cheque card

I was ****** over three weeks ago and have yet to receive a replacement cheque card from FNB. I cancelled my cards within the hour and ordered my replacement cheque card that night, but still have not received it.

I was pleased that my credit cards arrived from FNB within a week of the mugging and initially put the absence of my cheque card down to the failings of the delivery company outsourced by FNB. However, FNB's failure to provide a satisfactory and timeous solution does not reflect well. My bad experience includes:

- An entirely uncompassionate FNB call-center operator who dealt with me when I cancelled my cards after the trauma of the mugging - A representative from the delivery company (I think its CCD) who did not listen to me when I asked questions about the delivery arrangement and sent my card to the wrong place because she did not follow procedure and ask for my postal code - A rude delivery man from the company who blamed me for the fact that he was given the card to deliver even though he does not operate in my area - Numerous calls to the delivery company call center with no one to answer or speak to, and zero communication via sms or email

Eventually I submitted a complaint through the FNB website and was put in touch with Kent Escalations who said they would arrange to have my card delivered to a branch and then did not respond to my follow-up email for 8 days. They only got back to me after a phone call to the FNB complaints department. My subsequent dealings with the agent have been tardy and unsatisfactory and have shown that she has even less knowledge of FNB and its branches than I do.

Still no cheque card, still no solution. Most of all, I am upset with FNB because here I am - being the kind of person I hate to be - and complaining on hellopeter.

Reviewer Update
Yesterday I received a response from FNB within an hour of submitting this review. Unfortunately now the ball is back in the court of the courier company who STILL have my card. I have been waiting for them to give me a call since yesterday morning and have not heard a thing. Still no cheque card. Even more angry than I was yesterday (if that's even possible)
