Issues with Checkers ebucks voucher

On Thursday 15th December I purchased four checkers ebucks electronic vouchers to give to a lady in desperate need of groceries. I check the validity of the vouchers before purchasing and the T&Cs stated that the voucher is valid for 3 years. I purchased the vouchers, which also stated an expiry date of 15/12/2019, but when this poor lady went to buy a few things on Sunday she was told that all the vouchers had expired and were not valid. I have tried contacting the ebucks desk, who registered the issue and said I would be contacted by the ebucks Logistics department, but it is not more than 24 hours and I have still not heard from them. Please could we just get this sorted out, this is very poor customer service and completely unprofessional.
