Is this what you call service?
It's been 2 months of extreme frustration with what I thought would be a simple process of moving my banking profile to FNB. To my utter disappointment this is my second complaint which I am now forced to take to social media because it appears I am not being taken seriously. 2 people worth mentioning are the lady who opened the account for me online (I forget her name) and Wendell who helped with my first complaint. Those 2 are wonderful at their jobs-big up! Now my problem is that I cannot transact online i.e. internet, FNB app and to my dismay, even cellphone banking. I went into FNB Sandton branch twice spending over 2 hours of my time speaking to the call centre and taking screen shots that were emailed. 13 March Kezia Zealand emailed me asking me to re-try the online banking and I responded with screenshots showing that I still couldn't access online. 14 March Kezia called me and I advised her that I still could not register. Needless to say I've never heard from her again. On 24 March I went into Rosebank branch to follow up on my case. I waited patiently as the call centre agent tried to locate Kezia or give me feedback. I eventually had to leave and was told that someone would be in touch. To date, nothing. I was forced to withdraw a few thousand rand cash to deposit at another bank as i could not do it online. On 1 April seeing as no one had been in contact i decided to try cellphone banking as i needed to pay someone some money. After 33 minutes on the line with the call centre i was told that i could not add a beneficiary and that i would have to go to a branch. I refused, relayed my long story to the agent and asked to speak to a manager. I again relayed my story to this manager (I forget her name) and told her it was time FNB actually did something for me as she was telling me to call some division to explain my concern. I'm not to sure why you have Managers if they are going burden customers instead of taking it upon themselves to sort out complaints. Anyway, this manager advised me that I would be contacted on Tuesday 3 April. I'm still waiting. I again had to walk around with thousands of rands in my pocket. FNB let's be serious. Is that whole big company of yours incapable of sorting out a simple query or do you just not care. If you truly do not know how to handle complaints I'll give you some free ideas once off, otherwise I'll warn others about you, close my account and move to a company that doesn't take it's clients for granted.
