Is there anybody there?

My first savings account opened with FNB when I was 5 - 31 years later I am still with them and have been an advocate for their advancing services over the years.

But the support is HORRIBLE.

I had a transaction go through twice at a local spar - it was reversed as it failed the first time - I got the notification on my incontact. But it still went through both times. I only noticed this a week lter when looking at my credit card statement because you trust that when your bank says it was reversed - well, it gets reversed.

I contacted my banker (I have premier accounts so am told I get better service - which I pay for) - who told me to contact the app department to retrieve the incontact message, because they expire after about a week. Firstly - why do I have to do that, do your departments not talk or interact with each other? Secondly, it is really great that any proof of anything to do with transactions clients get expire.

Phone the app depart and the tell me that if the notification is gone - it is gone - but I must contact the card division - ‘because they will be able to see’.

So swearing under my breath i fill out the form and send it to the fnbcard email address- the third department I have dealt with - receive the obligatory ‘your query number is bla bla’.

Receive nothing by business day 5. So I follow up.

I follow up again.

And again.

I tried sending a message to the FNB facebook account - 4 days later still no rely.

Today is business day 9 - how does one actually get a response or help from you people?
