Is there a liquidity problem at FNB?
I have had the absolute worst service from this institution. My mother appointed FNB Fiduciary Services - Bedford Gardens in her Will and they have been absolutely useless. They have done nothing to try and bring closure to this issue, to date it has been 5 years. They act with complete and utter arrogance, e-mails are just completely ignored (or at the very best take weeks to respond). THere is absolutely no pro-activeness whatsoever. I can't help wonder whether there is a liquidity issue with FNB in that they have to hold onto funds that rightly belong to the heirs. They claim to invest the money in a 7day call account for you. However whats interesting is that they deduct a fee from this, so they are basically making money from what is actually MY money. Not to mention the fact that I would rather have the money so that I am afforded the right to invest MY money in a manner that serves my best interests. They are not worth the 3% they deduct from the estate for their services. STAY AWAY FROM THIS ENTITY.
