Is FNB suffering from unmanageable ***** or too few consultants dealing with *****?
Does FNB ***** department have too few consultants or do they have such massive amounts of ***** going on that they cannot attend to their customers? They sent me an SMS stating that they suspected ***** on my credit card, that my card and account was blocked, and to phone them. This was the same day as the second ***** occurrence, with the other, and larger ***** occurring the day before. I immediately contacted the only contact number being the call centre number. My concern is that only one small amount was mentioned to me. Once everything was unblocked by FNB after a three hour visit to the FNB Longbeach Mall branch, I managed to check my account to discover that there are eight *****ulent transactions of very concerning amounts and at MAKRO RIVERSANDS near Johannesburg and DIBAGA KAMOKA TAVERN in Hazy view. I live in Cape Town and I am still in possession of my old card. I have been wanting to check that each and every *****ulent amount has been captured by FNB. I tried their old, and only email address which is ‘debit&***’. I tried contacting them via the app but this doesn’t work either, as the required steps to follow (as given on the phone) do not work. I have tried waiting on the line for a ***** consultant three times now. EACH TIME I WAITED FOR ABOUT 40-45 MINUTES.No answer. The *****ulent amounts on my card are:31/12/23 MAKRO RIVERSANDS R994/R994/R1994/R5000/R5000. The others: 1/1/24 DIBAGA KAMOKA Tavern, Bushbuck Ridge R150/R4850/R499.99. Perhaps FNB does actually read HELLO PETER?? Let’s hope so because finally the details I would have liked to give them directly have now been recorded by them, and perhaps I will actually receive a response acknowledging that they are aware of all these *****ulent transactions. FNB should care more about keeping their customers happy, and not being able to easily report ***** is unacceptable to me and I am sure to most customers.
