Is FNB serious about stopping ***** or has their technology failed?

I woke up this morning to several *****ulent transactions pending on my FNB credit card. I immediately got onto the app and reported the *****. Literally got the new card on Monday, used for the first time Wednesday and cancelled Saturday. During the day several transactions were declined as the *****sters tried to rack up more expenses. I have the card with me so I assume the transactions are online...some travel and holiday destinations.

The whole day I have been trying to get FNB to provide feedback or the pending transactions, that are clearly ***** and still pending. I want these transactions declined. On this I get the run-around. There is not a single transaction that I try to do legitimately that does not require me to approve the transaction via the app.

So here is my question to FNB (that I could not get a response to after many calls, many self service chats, and surprise no help from my personal banker.)

None of these transactions were approved...so how are they pending and not declined? Why after a full day, with the *****sters still trying to use the declined card details, have you not declined the transactions that should never have been allowed. We trust you our BANK to secure the money we entrust with you...but you dont seem to have our best interests at heart. Is this an inside job or are you just not too interested is stopping *****? What commercial objective has stopped you all day from declining the pending ***** deals? How can you help? Decline the *****ulent deals pending on my credit card.

This reply is as hollow as the sincerity of your "Hoe can we help you?"

I don't need your apologies, I need service, something in very short supply.

Had a call from my so called "personal banker" he had not bothered to investigate or prep fort the call. Just a "Hi I was asked to call you", needless to say when I asked him to read the extensive communication to FNB and then call me when he can add value... I have not heard from him again.

Perhaps FNB can rustle up a manager that can **** actual concern and ownership?
