Irritated at unnecessary fees!!!!!!
I would like to understand what the logic is behind charging a client for not having sufficient funds in their account. My account was in a minus, a deposit went in which would help to clear this but instead FNB charged me R550 for not having funds in my account, thereby putting me into further financial stress. People are out here struggling to make ends meet and FNB feels its appropriate to add this by charging fees and upon fees, which is not justified.
I would like to clear the minus balance but FNB is making this damn near impossible because everytime a deposit is done, they help themselves. Does this bank not know that there are still many of us who are still struggling under Covid and the effects thereof!
Someone needs to call me to explain this rationale and these charges must be reversed so I can get my account back to normal. I don't want FNB to honour anything for me, I will sort myself out. Just reverse these stupid fees so I can work on getting things back in order.
I swear, this bank has the most useless slogan.
Anyway, can someone at least attempt to call me back as I am not having luck getting through to anyone and the chat service is a dud. I see I have been charged a further R150, now putting me R750 in the red for not having money in my account. I am tired of FNB taking my money for absolute no service and then still have the audacity to ask how they can help me. I am waiting for the call back.
