Irreconcilable differences
I'm writing to you to express my deepest regret in ever moving over to FNB. Subsequently to that, I moved over my wife, my children as well as 2 of my friends. With my family we will gladly move once again as a result of the below.
I app**** for a Home loan in 2017, Absa and FNB gave me the same offer, however taking all things into account, I decided to pack up 25 years with ABSA and move to FNB. My business account is with FNB as well.
I have paid EVERY single account since then, through COVID, through everything. Not one day in arrears.
Home loan Credit Card Revolving Loan Personal Loan
My credit score is 800+ (the top tier).
I app**** for a new home loan this week and FNB declined me TWICE.
Absa again came back with a 100% bond. Weird hey!?
Feedback was that I'm a bad credit payer. The only account (less than R1000 - PLEASE NOTE ABOVE ACCOUNTS PAID IN FULL WITH MUCH LARGER AMOUNTS), I have not paid on time was a dispute between myself and Telkom, which (despite believing I was NOT in the wrong), I did make payment on to not have this reflect badly on my name (as trying to discuss this with Telkom proved futile). TO REITERATE: This account has been settled and I have no longer any debt with Telkom.
I, therefore find your reason for declining my loan totally unacceptable and in bad faith!
