INVALID FICA DOCUMENTS
I went into the branch to change my address using my existing Lease agreement - AUGUST 18th.The consultant checked the documents and verified with another consultant that the documents are correct and proceeded to change the details on my profile. 03 September I received an SMS stating that FNB has not received Valid FICA documents - I started a new project at work so could not respond to this and sort out this issue. 08 September I receive another SMS stating that my account is now frozen due to FICA docs.

From the 18th August to the 03 September it took FNB 13 working days to investigate my FICA documents and decide that they were invalid, however it took them 3 working days to freeze my active FNB cheque account.

FNB needs to explain to me why did it take this long to verify and get back to me regarding this simple process.

I then called Simon at the call centre on *** opt 4, he simply did all the verification and with no customer services skills showing that the logo and brand---HOW CAN WE HELP YOU????? No empathy at all. Very disappointed with FNB service. Of no help to me in time of need. I need access to funds that are to be deposited into my account.
