Internal *****

I had R100 in my ewallet account.i decided to withdraw it on saturday 21/07/18 however when I checked my ewallet balsnce it showed nil. I then contacted the call centre and they said that the funds were withdrawn 2 days ago and they gave me a atm site number and said go to the branch and they will tell me which atm it was.went to the branch, they investigated and said it was withdrwan from some store in the eastern cape ..I live in durban.

anyways logged the ***** complaint..

What do I do..because its a trivial amount however a part of me is concerned because someone somewhere succesfully did this..and it seems like no ordinary guy on the street can do something like this...seems like a internalised fnb ***** syndicate...if it is the latter,,I am deeply shocked and concerned.

And the call centre says that I should go get a warrant and affidavit..eish..such a bother, time and effort I have to spend for just R100.

i decided to make my case available to the public so they can collect all the facts and they can make up their own judgments /minds regarding FNB's ewallet system. To FNB.. i have not requested a pin on the 19th july as per your report..i further requested you guys check your logs and verify the msisdn pin request was from number to which you guys never responded. (i am a businessman , i turnover 6 digits monthly..honestly would i make a poor attempt to recover a mere R100 from your ewallet system...would i invest all this time to go to a branch on a saturday and spend 2-3 hours to report/fix this issue...would i invest all this time/energy by making all this posts just for R100)..anyways now its in the public domain and they can make up their own minds Outcome FNB claims no responsibility and will not refund me. i have posted their letter to me and would like to advise the public whom use/rely/transact of the fnb ewallet system..that there is a leak in the system. fortunately i only lost R100.
