Interest Rate not amended

I currently have a Homeloan account with FNB that was registered in January 2017. I was contacted by FNB on 10 March 2017, stating that if I should open a Cheques account with FNB and switch my salary, debit orders and specifically my Homeloan debit order, that they will reduce my interest rate on my homeloan with 0.25%.

I decided to go ahead with the switch because of the promising offer. It took a while to close all my other accounts with my previous bank and complete all the paperwork to switch everything. By the beginning of July 2017 everything was switched.

I have since sent various emails and messages to inquire about when they are planning to amend my Interest rate on my Homeloan. The first and only response I have received from FNB on all my messages was today - 30 January 2018, only for them to tell me that there is no record that they offered to amend my interest rate. All the emails that was sent to me to do the switching was from a "no-reply" address and was signed by "FNB Premier".

I was very happy with my previous service provider and would not have switched if it wasn't for their proposal.

It took 7 month and I had to pay the monthly service fee every month for no benefits at all.
