INT ON DEBIT BALANCE RIDICULOUS CHARGES MONTHLY

I have been an FNB client for over 20 years now, I'm very unhappy with this INT on debit balance i always get charged on my cheque account over a R1000 monthly and i still pay monthly account fees. I've had it and i'm now moving to another bank it's too much. Even when my account is on a positive i still get charged this ridiculous INT on debit balance, it makes no difference whether i'm on positive or negative as a result sometimes i'm unable to meet other monthly obligations because FNB takes a whole thousand rand on interest.
