Insurance is not responding.

We were on or way from Jhb to Cpt. When on the N2we hit a lump of tar on the road. It was 2 am and dark in the middle of nowhere. We stopped and couldnt see much in the dark so we drove on, we made it as far as Springfontein. As we approached the little one stop the gearbox started to make noise and we could hear that the oil was gone. When we came to a stop the entire back of the car was saturated in oil.
We were able to obtain a lift to Bloemfontein and get a rental courtesy car to continue our Journey. We arrived in Cape town safely and 30 days later we received notification that the insurance has now assessed the car and was going to repair it. 30 days just to assess the car? Everytime we call the call center no one can tell us what is happening.
Another 2 weeks went by and after numerous phone calls we were eventually informed of the panel beaters details. Up to this point no one from the repair company had contacted us. When we contacted him he was not very informative as to the progress of the car. When i gave him a number of details he vaguely said he it would be ready for collection the following week.

I have me to say if somone would call me to complete this report.
