"instantly" just got a new meaning

Friday 16 Feb 2018: We app**** online for a credit card limit increase which according to them is "instantly". We already have the account - just need a small increase.

Saturday 17 Feb 2018: Went into the bank at Cape Gate Branch to sign the pre-agreement and supply the documents needed. They would then scan to the Credit Card Center. We tried phoning them and were told that this would take 24-48 hours - NOT "instantly"....

Monday 19 Feb 2018: We following up on the request and now we're told that it's 24-48 Business Hours....!!! This is absolutely ridiculous, and very disappointing from a bank where we have ALL our accounts. Seriously going to move all my accounts including bond to another institute. Please do not ADVERTISE "HOW CAN WE HELP YOU" as a slogan when service is not something that you offer your customers.

Extremely disappointed and frustrated !!!
