Insane 2 week waiting period for chequea to clear

<p>Dear FnB please can someone explain in this day and age how a customer can wait 2 weeks for cheques to clear where it takes only 5 days with other banks ? </p> <p> </p> <p>I have to now sit and borrow funds from elsewhere whilst you sit there and make interest off my payments this is crazy !</p>
