Inconveniencing the customer!
I received an SMS informing me my cheque card is ready for collection at the Paardeneiland branch. First of all I was under the impression it would be delivered to me just like my credit card. Unfortuantely this was not the case. I phoned the call centre to request the card be transferred to the Blue Route branch so I could collect it there as it's closer to home. I was then told that I have to go into Blue Route and inform them to inform Paardeneiland to send the card to them. I asked why can't they send through the request, as the call is recorded. I was told they can't do it and I have to go in. So from me expecting the card to be delivered to me, I now have to go to the bank multiple times. Apparently I can't even phone the branch because it's all done through the call centre now, which are quite useless because they actually can't do anything. And don't forget all the FICA documentation I have to find and take with. Even though I have been FICA registered before with them. Why make things harder for your customers? With all the banking fees I pay and accounts I have I a can't believe all the hoops I have to jump through to keep making money for these guys!
