*********** is not the word
On the 3rd of August 2015 I settled my credit card and two days after I requested the card to be cancelled. I also asked for it in writing which I am waiting for. This morning I received an SMS I am R175 over my limit, so I called to enquire what's the balance for and was told I used my card. I tried to explain that is impossible because when the card went in to arrears I was told it could no longer b used and secondly I asked for it to be cancelled. I was then told there was a R1 limit on the card and I exceeded that wen I purchased which I again explained I never. I then put the phone down and logged a complaint on the fnb website. Received a called from a lady explained the same story and insisted I purchased. I asked her if there is a R1 limit and the amount was requested to b closed how was there a purchase. She responds by saying because of the R1 limit if there is a purchase the account would automatically open again. So why cancel or even have a limit on the account.
