*********** and clueless paledi fnb staff when it comes to estates. Useless bunch of talkers.

My aunt went to fnb paledi with regards to moving money from my late grandfathers account into an estate account that was set up by the lawyer as the estate claim process is coming to an end. Firstly the estate is more than R250 000 so a letter of exector was awarded to my aunt who was nominated by her siblings to handle the estate matters, instead of a letter of authority which is only awarded to estates below R250 000. To her horror, the staff including an *********** manager told my aunt and her lawyer that they cant transfer the money into an estate account because she needed a letter of authority which is only awarded to estates less than R250 000. They had a war of words with her lawyer wasting his time and hers. Costing them money. They even told my aunt that the money will only be moved into an account with her names. What ***** condoning ppl are hired in this place. Its a total joke. May aunt had to drive 40km to get help at another brunch... in this economy. They had to go to the savanna branch where they were helped with no problems. Pls educate that entire paledi fnb about estates and tell them to not speak of things they know nothing about. They must learn to pick up phones and ask if something is new to them. They need serious training. They even lack mere customer service.
