I sent an email to FNB housing finance about my bond that I had made arrangements to start contributing extra on monthly basis and wanted a rough estimation as to how many years would it take to settle the mortgage if I were to add R500.00 extra I was told that I am looking at 10yrs then I asked how is that possible because last time when I made a contribution of R200.00 extra I was told the same thing , but the lady by the surname of Mabena kept on running around in circles and even told me I cant have the recording I had with one of their consultant as it is the property of FNB . After that I got an email with a copy of someone else title deed which I didn't ask for, that made me question the competency and I am considering refinancing my mortgage with someone else who knows what is customer service .
