Incompetency at FNB
Around the 20th of November 2017 I did my online CIPC regustration with FNB and paid the required R200 or so. On the 22nd of November they then asked for FICA documents which I then sent to them the very same day. The TAT provided was 10 days. So after 10 days of not receiving feedback or even acknowledgement that my docs were received and or my application was being processed, I sent them an email to follow up. Again no response whatsoever. Today, 11th December, I was fed up and decided to vent in twitter. I was contacted by the rbjacobs account. I provided all the details of my query included my ref number to them via DM on twitter, and still went a step further by doing the same via email to the email address that rbjacobs provided and included the required socuments. I got a response from rbjacobs via email saying my query was sent to their business team to resolve. I got a response from their business team asking for THE VERY SAME documents I had sent in over 3 weeks ago and earlier today when I had complained. It seems to me that whoever is dealing with my query and application is just too quick to respond with template reaponses without even applying themselves to resolve this issue. How can they treat BUSINESS accounts like this?? FNB clearly does not care about it’s clients. I am a DJ and this inconvenience may just cost me an endor*****t because brands do not take personal accounts for certain sponsorship payment but only registered business accounts (for obvious reasons).
