Incompetence - Simphiwe Nzoyi

I have been dealing with the housing finance department for the the past to months, hoping that the first 3 calls would resolve my matter.

I elected to pay the initiation fee upfront on my new bond, thereby only paying an instalment based on the bond amount and not any additional extras because I had saved the money in advance to cover for extra costs.

I confirmed in May with Simphiwe Nzoyi (from FNB housing)that my capital amount would be reduced by the cash payment made upfront and he sent me the updated statement with my instalment to be deducted in June. Low and behold come the 24th of June the amount deducted from my back is the full instalment on the inflated capital amount.

On 27th of June phoning the call centre twice and then also emailing Simphiwe about this error he tells me that the Global interest rates have gone up and thats why my instalment has increase. When this is in fact untrue.

Not only did he not make an effort to read my email he gave a lame excuse that did not validate his point.

This is not a complex matter, in fact I calculated on excel what my repayment should be and this is how i picked up the variance.

I am so frustrated by this process and I am not getting any help from anybody at FNB Housing even after I requested Simphiwe in the email to have his supervisor call me.

This is worst service I have received in a very long time.
