Incompetence Galore

I have been trying to sort out a statement error since the 6 September where due to a system error on their side, 3 debit order deductions was processed on my personal bank account. I was able to reverse 2 of the deductions successfully but upon receiving my statement, I noticed that my balance had increased. I queried this telephonically and explained in detail what the situation was. I received no help. I then sent numerous emails that resulted in me sending proof of the deductions and reversals on my side to which they still did not correct the statement and understand that there was an increase in my balance regardless of the more than double instalment I am paying and successfully was deducted on my account. In the latest response via email from the credit card division, the consultant and I quote says: "kindly be advised that your balance did not change a lot as the account was debited/credited. The only difference is the card fees, interest and the budget instalment amount. We therefore advise that you do not focus on the summery as you do not use your card and refer to the detailed breakdown reflected on the 2nd page of the statement." Bare in mind that on page 2 it is clear that there is a problem. I have since responded to advise that there is a R280.92 difference in my balance that did not decrease regardless of the payment going through. I have received the following case numbers with regard to this unresolved issue: ********** 7; ********** 0; ********** 4
