INCOMPETENCE AND STUPIDITY REIGNS ONCE AGAIN IN FNB

As a South African citizen with dual nationality who recently returned to South Africa to retire and whose total income comes from the UK via FNB, I am lost for words as for the *********** and useless service FNB offers. I pay double tax, in the UK and South Africa on the money I receive. I pay more tax in South Africa than in the UK. BUT what really amazes me is that FNB informs me that my UK Tax Number/ National Insurance number is not a valid UK Tax Number. I have just received my P45 from the UK which declares my total income and tax paid. The number on my P45 from the UK is the same number that FNB says is not a UK Tax Number. Once again I must remember that FNB is a third world bank where incompetency and stupidity reigns. MY ADVICE TO ANY FOREIGN NATIONAL WANTING TO INVEST/BANK IN SOUTH AFRICA IS AVOID FNB.
