Incompetence

I have a lifestyle Protect plan with FNB and I have never really paid any attention to it. So recently I have been doing my estate planning and called fnb to check my beneficiary details, I was shocked that they have very minimal details for my beneficiary. I asked to update the details and asked for a confirmation email. The email was sent. I think I checked like a day or 2 later and my beneficiaries name and date of birth was incorrect. I sent and email asking for it to be corrected, only the date of Birth was corrected, the name wasn't. I sent an email to premier bankers asking them to fix the issue or I would cancel the plan. Nothing came of that email. I called today to ask whether my details were corrected only to be advise that my plan was cancelled because they could not reach me. I am shocked, this is not the kind of work/unprofessionalism I would associate with FNB and I am not happy at all. If you do not want me as a client and would cancel my policy without me asking you to, I would like all my premiums back.
